Cry Baby (Deluxe Edition) Tracklist:
I have been trying for months to access the book that comes with this album but I can’t. The music is AWSOME!!! And so is Melanie but I’m mad at apple for wasting my money, at least it goes to Melanie, I think.
beautiful i’ve been listening to melanie for two years now. since it’s 2am and i have nothing else to do, imma write a review of all the reasons she’s amazing. she’s unique, amazing voice, and every song has a deep meaning
Crybaby by Melanie Martinez is quite possibly one of the best Modern Albums. Amazing lyrics that actually mean something and beats that actually sound good. The storyline itself feels like Im listening to an audio book.
Your the best singer ever I love your music!!!! Whenever I’m sad I sing your music...You make me super happy!!!! Thank you for existing!!!I love you and I hope you can go on with you life and be the best you can❤️❤️❤️-Isabella rose Thompson
This album is truly mesmerizing. The songs are whimsical, magical, and seemingly innocent sounding. Even though they have a soft innocent sound, the meanings of the songs are deep. Orange Juice is about bulimia, etc. So amazing.
Since she is doing songs based off of her childhood I think she should do a song about a girls puberty. Also, she did not rape her friend. It was part of a fanfic. Anyways, her songs are totally worth buying!
Here are all the songs explained for you: 1: Crybaby. This song is about Melanie being a very sensitive person and embracing that. 👶🏼💦 2: Dollhouse. This song has two meanings, first, how nobody’s really perfect and everyone has something going on in their life. Two, how everyone assumes that celebrities are perfect, and as Melanie said, “People put them in these glass boxes and think that they’re perfect, and when something happens that shows they’re human, people don’t like that” 3: Sippy Cup. This song is a continuation of “Dollhouse”, it shows what “goes down in the kitchen”; Crybaby’s mother murders her father. When Melanie sings, “Kids are still depressed when you dress them up”, and, “All the makeup in the world won’t make you less insecure”, shes talking about how no matter what you put on the outside, your inside and your inner feelings stay the same. 4: Carousel. This song is about chasing after someone and always being the same distance from each other, never getting closer, going around in circles, as if you’re a horse on a carousel. When she sings, “It’s all fun and games till somebody falls in love, but you’ve already bought a ticket and theres no turning back now”, she means after you fall in love with someone, you cant really “un-love” them. 5: Alphabet Boy. This might be my favorite song on the album. I think its very underrated. According to Melanie, this song is about a boyfriend she had in college who always said she was writing her songs wrong as if he had a right way to do it. Love this. 6: Soap. This is another great song, about how after you tell someone you love them, you can’t really take it back. When Melanie sings, “Threw a toaster in the bathtub”, she doesnt mean literally throw a toaster in the bath, that would kill you. Shes saying that by saying “I love you” shes risking everything, like throwing a toaster in the bathtub. 7: Training Wheels. This song is the only real love song on the album. It talks about wanting to move forward as a couple. When she sings, “Youve been riding two-wheelers to all your life, its not like I’m asking to be your wife”, shes saying, “I want to be in a serious relationship, whats so hard about that?” 8: Pity Party. This song is about inviting everyone to your party and nobody comes. When she sings, “When I put a heart on every cursive letter”, shes beginning to wonder why she puts in so much work and nobody even comes. 9: Tag, Youre It. Another song with double meanings. This song is mainly about Crybabys kidnapping, something that luckily, never happened to Mel. Mel also says that since now Crybaby is single, “Wolves are now on the prowl”, hence the wolf costume in the music video. 10: Milk and Cookies. This is a continuation of Tag, Youre It, where Melanie poisons her kidnappers. This song is very underrated. 11: Pacify Her. This song is about Crybaby becoming like her dad, where she cheats and makes people cheat. 12: Mrs. Potato Head. This song is about people getting plastic surgery and how it doesnt always work out. 13: Mad Hatter. This is about embracing your insanity. Thanks for taking the time to read this
To all those haters, just saying if you think she is a rapist than you need to find out your self than going by what a dumb person said. And if you truly hated her you must have looked her up, clicked on her songs, listens to her, and got jelly so you decided to write a review stating bull crap. So if you feel that she is discussing or bad then you should just stop causing drama. She is an artist by experience and has had a lot of troubles. Melanie is the best ~Icanttellyoumyname
Like dude I had to order another one online. Melanie is my true queen, all of her songs are relatable. Mad Hatter made me realize I had a completely crazy side. Now to rant. People who still think that Melanie [email protected] Timothy need to get a bigger brain. The tweets were all from a fanfic. And people who turned their back on her immediately when she needed them the most, they aren’t true fans. Those people who burned mercy that I couldn’t get? What a bunch of wasteful jerks. But that is all. You, Melanie, are my true and personal queen. 👌
She didn’t rape Timothy. There is SO much proof and y’all sayin “hOmEgIrL a RaPiSt”. Have y’all ever heard of the saying “Innocent til’ proven guilty”? Really. There some clownery up in the 1 star reviews... 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 But overall every song on the list is amazingly awesome. 💅❤️❤️👌👌💅
I bought the deluxe version of Crybaby with the digital book and I’ve tried to look for the book but I still don’t have it but it says it’s purchased, but overall it’s a great album but I kinda feel like I got scammed and payed more money for nothing
