Bro like the music was good but it seemed like the singer encourages school shootings. 👏now I can’t stop thinking about it. Put some thought into it. An you will realize what I have.
I like Pump up kids but I don’t like what’s it’s about I don’t like the song because it’s about a school shooter you can kinda tell from better run better faster than my bullet and so on.
Listen to the terrible song lyrics!Roberts got a quick hand,he’ll look around the room,he won’t tell you his plan he’s got a rolled cigarette hanging out his mouth he’s a cowboy kid yeah found a six shooter gun in his dads closet hidden oh in a box of fun things I don’t even know what but he’s coming for you yeah he’s coming for you...etc.go on google and look up pumped up kicks lyrics
This is the first acctual good band I ever discovered. When I was about 11 or 12 I heard pumped up kicks on the radio in my brothers Jeep and a couple of years later I saw the Houdini music video. Ever since then They’ve been my favorite band!
These guys are so awesome I cannot even put it in words because they’re that awesome and it is really the best band I’ve ever heard in my life👍👍👍👍 I hope they make music like this and don’t go downhill but, GUYS KEEP IT UP 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Saw them in concert recently (w/ AJR) so i feel obligated to say: They ROCK!!!!!!! They diserve more radio play than they get. I love Imagine Dragons and I've gotta say, I'd rather here these guys anytime.
This is one of the best albums ever released. Track after track, there is a soul filled session waiting for you. The electronic instruments are used extremely well. They make the songs very unique and enjoyable. The record starts of strong with an amazing use of tempo and drumming. The album has a lot of gems and you can really never get bored. This is Foster the People at their most cheerful. This record can brighten your day and it's an amazing piece from start to finish. Favorites: Waste, Houdini, I Would Do Anything For You, Miss You, Broken Jaw
I love this album, and Pumped Uo Kicks is a great song despite the hate. Listen idiots, singing about a dark topic isn't encouraging the behavior. It's authoritarian to say that because of the material in a song, it shouldn't be allowed to be played. It's art damnit, just like some whiny white girl singing about all her ex girlfriends is art. You don't censor really great Greek art that has nudity, death, and sex in it do you? Why should be hate this song, has it really inspired a bunch of shootings? I don't think so. To be honest if the people are so concerned about shootings, go actually do something about it instead of complaining on line. Go out and get some self defense classes, or fundraiser for better security in your school, or get a concealed carry permit or buy a gun so you can protect yourself.
Foster the People is an incredibly talented and unique band. I'm so glad I found them a couple years ago. I have been to three of their concerts and they are one of my favorite bands!! My personal favorite from this album is Pumped Up Kicks, and I know that it's more mainstream, but this was the first song I heard from them which brought me here to the rest of the album. For all of you that are complaining and saying Pumped Up Kicks is about someone shooting their peers (some of you thinking it's about the Columbine shooting) be mature, get over it and grow up. This is an amazing and creative song that I've loved since it was released! This album is totally worth the buy!!
Mark Foster makes an interesting type of music. It's not something you can fully understand with a listen or two -- it's the kind of music that expands in your mind the more you hear it. I've never gotten bored of Torches. It's been one of my favorites since the first time I listened to it in 2013.
