I was totally unaware of Noah when I heard Young & Sad on Steven Colbert's late show where she song it in separate quarentine with her father and I thought it was related to the quarentine and it so moved me. I imagine locking up a budding adult during the quarentine caused the sadness but she writes here it seems not the motivation. Sadness is universal and this is the fruit of hers.
